After a flop of Jd10c5s, Sean Ripp got it all in from the big blind for 650,000, Matt Berkey got it all in from middle position for 1,670,000, and Michael Nugent covered them both from UTG.

These were their cards in descending order of chip counts:

Michael Nugent:  AsJs  (pair of jacks)
Matt Berkey:  10s10h  (set of tens)
Sean Ripp:  5h5d  (set of fives)

Berkey had a huge lead, poised to win a pot worth about 4.1 million in chips and catapult into the chip lead to end Day 2.

But the turn card was the 5c, the river card was the 2s, and Ripp turned quad fives to win the main pot and triple up in chips.

Berkey won the side pot that was nearly as large as the main pot with his set of tens for a relatively small profit on the hand.

Sean Ripp  –  2,105,000  (105 bb)
Matt Berkey  –  2,040,000  (102 bb)
Michael Nugent  –  275,000  (14 bb)
