Friday’s action at the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was all focused completely on the $570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event.
Between the two starting flights that ran today, there were another 740 entries added to the field. Over the four flights that have kicked off so far, there are 1,465 entries, which has generated a prizepool of $732,500 thus far. The field is on pace to surpass the $1 million guaranteed prizepool.
Nick Palma bagged the Day 1C chip lead with a massive 460,000 chip stack by the day’s end. He has the overall chip lead by 130,000 over his next competitor.
Randy Matieuzo bagged the Day 1D chip lead with a more modest 249,500. There were 74 survivors from the 1D flight and 73 moving on from the 1C flight.
The final two flights of this event get underway on Saturday and are expected to be the two biggest flights of the tournament.
