Charlemagne Benjamin

Haim Toorgeman open-shoved under the gun for about 625,000. It folded around to Charlemagne Benjamin in the small blind who moved all-in for less. Matt Zimmerman folded his big blind and Benjamin was at risk.

Benjamin: KcKh
Toorgeman: AhQc

Benjamin had Toorgeman drawing slim and a JsJc4c flop didn’t change that. The Jh turn left Benjamin needing only to dodge one of three remaining aces in the deck.

The dealer had other plans, though. Revealed on the river was the Ac improving Toorgeman to a better pair and earning him the pot. Tablemate Evan Teitelbaum said he folded an ace meaning it was a two-outer for Toorgeman.

Benjamin was eliminated in 15th place.

Haim Toorgeman – 1,220,000
