With more than 500 entries in the first two flights alone, the guarantee is long gone and today’s field simply grows the prize pool further into the six figures.

Like yesterday and the day before, Flight C players begin with 30,000 chips and play 40-minute levels. A 40-minute dinner break occurs after Level 9 with action wrapping following Level 15. Late registration and unlimited re-entry available until the start of Day 2.

Here’s a more in-depth look at the schedule of play followed by a breakdown of the 6pm multi satellite.

End of Level 15: 2,000/4,000/500 Ante

That’s a wrap on Friday and Flight B of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Deep Stack series opener. The second of three starting flights, Flight B began at 11 a.m. and drew 312 entries bringing the two-flight total to more than 550 and eclipsing the $150,000 guarantee with another start day still to come.

Bagging the chip lead as 49 advanced from Flight B was Ismail Patel. Patel, who locked up a stack of 585,000, trails Flight A’s Hector Navas as a total of 89 players have punched their ticket to Day 2 thus far.

Complete chip counts through Flight B will be posted in the morning around 9 a.m. In the meantime, here’s a look at Saturday’s upcoming schedule:

The 40-minute dinner break is over and cards are freshly in the air for the start of Level 10. Heading toward the top of the counts as the clock ticks up toward 300 entries is Evan Teitelbaum. Teitelbaum was up over 230,000 before taking a hit prior to dinner. He now holds 195,000 and trails only Andrew Woodmancey’s 225,000-chip stack. The top four stacks are rounded out by Marco Rodriguez in third with 187,500 and local regular Nancy Birnbaum in fourth with 170,000.

With 271 entries and more than 500 total combined, the $150,000 guarantee is already a thing of the past in Event 1 of the Deep Stack Series opener.

We will take another look at the chip leaders and the field size when play concludes in Flight B tonight around 10:30 p.m.
