Registration is closed in Flight F and the field is officially set in the $560 buy-in, $400,000 guaranteed $1M Escalator Event. The complete prize pool will be posted shortly, in the meantime, here’s a look at how the tournament got to this point:

Flight E began today at 11 a.m. and went on to be the largest of the five starting flights to that point. With 207 entries, Flight E pushed the combined field over 800 and helped eclipse the tournament’s $400,000 guarantee. Following nearly eight hours of play, just 39 bagged chips.
Leading the pack was Igor Terpenev. Terpenev amassed 285,500 chips and sits second overall with 158 players advancing to this point. Complete Day 2 chip counts with seat assignments will be posted in the morning around 9 a.m.
The sixth and final starting flight is underway now with late registration available until 10:30 p.m.

While the $400,000 guarantee is already bested, that’s not going to stop tonight’s 6 p.m. Flight F from going off as scheduled. The sixth and final starting flight, Flight F is underway now. Each additional entry will simply help grow the prize pool up above the $412,000 it stands at following Flight E.

Cards are back in the air following the second break of the day and registration is closed in Flight E of the $560 buy-in $1M Escalator Series event. With 207 entries, not only did Flight E mark the largest of the lot to this point, it moved the prize pool up over the $400,000 guarantee and positioned tonight’s 6 p.m. Flight F to put some icing on the cake.

With 186 Flight E entries and counting, the $400,000 guarantee in Event 4 of the $1M Escalator Series has officially been met. The unofficial prize pool sits at $401,500 and growing. As some in the field put it, tonight’s 6 p.m. Flight F is officially a “flight of fluff”.

The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Champion boasts a $3,500 buy-in and a $2,000,000 guarantee. The tournament, which runs April 15-20, features a number of satellite events, but that’s not the only way to gain discounted entry into the prestigious Championship.

The clock strikes 11 a.m. and Saturday’s Flight E of the $560 buy-in,$400,000 guaranteed $1M Escalator Series is underway. In last week’s $350 event, this flight was the largest of the six. That trend is expected to continue today as the weekend hits its stride and goes into full swing here at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood poker room.

Before cards even went in the air, the clock read more than 50 players registered. Tournament staff said they fully expect the $400,000 guarantee to be bested during this flight. A Flight E field of 183 entries is needed to accomplish that feat.
