Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Points leader Timothy Miles appears to hold the chip lead midway through the day. Miles claims 845,000 chips and flirts with the 1,000,000 mark as Level 21 is underway. Other notable stacks belong to Abbey Daniels (365,000), Michael Beasley (270,000) and Andrew Badecker (210,000).

One of the shorter stacks in the room is that of last month’s Coco Poker Showdown Championship winner Stu Patterson. Patterson picked up in the small blind. He had the big blind covered and jammed. After some thought, the big blind called and tabled . He rivered a king and doubled through Patterson. The pot left Patterson with about 95,000 which is the stack he currently holds.

From 1,081 starting to just 100 remaining, Event 4 of the $1M Escalator series is in the money. The bubble burst just moments ago early in Level 19 following about four hours of Day 2 play. The fateful hand, which came during the fourth round of hand-for-hand, saw Nissim Gozlan’s outdraw the of an unknown player. It went limp, raise, call preflop. Gozlan spiked a seven on the flop and eventually got the unknown player to risk all their chips. The board ran out no help and, with that, the bubble burst.

All remaining players have locked up $1,081 with the tournament’s champion earning $118,906 and a $3,500 seat in the $2,000,000 guaranteed Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship.

One other notable hand that took place during hand-for-hand saw Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year points leader Timothy Miles call off his stack with the best of it. He lead the flop out of position and then check-called the turn. The board was and Miles checked again. His opponent moved all in and Miles went into the tank before calling off. Miles tabled and had his opponent’s outkicked. Miles now claims one of the largest stacks in the room.

Notables still in contention include Miles, Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Stewart Newman, reigning SHRP Player of the Year Ory Hen, Abbey Daniels, Michael Bennett, Stu Patterson, Frederico Dabus and Andrew Badecker.Those who made Day 2 but hit the rail before the money include last year’s World Series of Poker Main Event runner up Josh Beckley and Seminole Hard Rock Poker team members Mukul Pahuja and Sheddy Siddiqui.

With 1,081 total entries, Event 4 ($560 No Limit Hold’em) of the $1M Escalator Series shattered its $400,000 guarantee before the prize pool topped out at an impressive $540,500. Following six starting flights and three days of play, the field is down to the final 210 and it’s on to Day 2. It’s just after 2 p.m. local time and cards are freshly in the air for the restart here in the poker room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood.

Other notable stacks among the field include Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year points leader Timothy “T.K.” Miles (157,000) and SHRP team members Mukul Pahuja (141,000), Stewart Newman (120,500) and Sheddy Siddiqui (89,500).

Flight F is a wrap here at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood marking the conclusion of Day 1 of Event 4 of the $1M Escalator Series. Play began at 6 p.m. with a field of 257 entries that’s now down to only 52 players.

Those who played their way through 14 Flight F levels have earned a Day 2 berth. As is, the number of players advancing stands at 210 from 1,081 starting. Each of the top 100 finishers earn prize money with the tournament’s champion pocketing $118,906 and a $3,500 seat to the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown with a $2M GTD on April 15th!
