We knew it was going to be a little busy at the start of the day. With 70 tables worth of players, all of them in the money, action stuck to the script. Event 1 is down more than 60 players which means we lost an average of one player every 30 seconds for the first half-hour back.

We found some notables back in the Day 2 field including a former champion of this tournament. Ben Boston won the $400 Deep Stack opener in 2019 and walked away with $133,918 after a six-way deal at the final table.

John Colucci wanted two things out of this tournament; his picture in the updates and min-cash. Mission accomplished.

Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi has the best resume of those in the field, he came in with a top ten stack, and started picking up more chips as soon as they put cards back in the air. The five-time WSOP bracelet winner is joined at his table by 2019 WSOP Seniors event champion Howard Mash.
