The waiting is over and the 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is set to kick off at the top of the hour. The first tournament of 28 main events will start at 11am and the festival will be underway.

The opening tournament is a huge-field, big money event with a $360 buy-in and $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. There are six starting flights to give players plenty of chances to advance to Day 2 on Sunday.

They sit down to 20,000 stacks out front and play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 around 3:30pm and they’ll finish up the night after Level 14.

The opening event is big for every series, but SHRPO builds them even higher. Tables are set, dealers are prepped, and cards will fly shortly.
