The weekend is fully upon us and it’s time for the last two flights of the opening Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open” event. Saturday brings the final chance to get a piece of the huge Event 1 prize pool and it will continue to build throughout the day.

The tournament features a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool and it was surpassed during the fourth of six flights. Thursday and Friday flights drew a combined 1,685 entrants and we expect another big crowd today. Of those starters, 326 made it to the end of their flight to come back tomorrow for Day 2.

Flight 1E is set to go at the top of the hour with players sitting to 20,000 stacks and 30-minute levels. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30PM and they may re-enter during that time if they lose their chips. Play will conclude at the end of Level 14 with the survivors bagging up for tomorrow.

I will be a fun, packed ballroom today as the weekend grinders take their shot at some big money. Players are taking their seats and cards will be in the air shortly.
