Chris Funari returns with the Day 2 chip lead

Event 1 kicked off the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown with a bang, creating the biggest field and prize pool at this buy-in in our history. It drew 3,902 entries over six starting flights to move the $500,000 guaranteed prize pool over $2,000,000.

Chris Funari bagged the overall chip lead in Flight E and he returns with more than 100K over second-place Paul  Camby. George Hortelano, Nick Pupillo, and Seth Medoff round out the top five stacks returning this afternoon.

A total of 490 players return and they are already in the money. Blinds levels will increase to 40 minutes once they roll into Level 16 and they will remain there until increasing to 60 minutes at the final table.

Cards go in the air at 2 pm and we will be here all day long.
