The 2019 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicked off with a bang. The opening tournament drew huge for a nearly $1.5 million prize pool with 2,958 entries over six flights. Only 423 remain and they return today for Day 2.

The first few flights saw end-of-day big stacks in the high 300K range but the last two flights blasted past those. Uri Kadosh finished Flight E with a huge 640,000 bag and that looked like a lock for the Day 2 returning chip lead. Then Nick Raio went massive in the last flight to put an incredible 826,000 away for today.

The first order of business will be the money bubble with 300 players getting paid. They should get there before the first break and then continue throughout the day.

Blind levels are now 40-minutes long until they increase to 60 minutes at the final table. Cards go back in the air at 1pm and we will have all the action from start to finish.
