Players Remaining:  524 of 4,184

The first tournament on the Poker Showdown schedule drew a huge crowd of 4,184 entries over six starting flights. Event 1 had a $500,000 guarantee that turned in a $1,380,720 prize pool.

We have 524 players returning this afternoon at 1 pm to continue playing down toward our champion. They are all in the money and guaranteed at least $525 with more than $200K awaiting the winner.

Chris Lewis leads the return with a huge chip lead, his 880,000 well clear of second place Jackie Lee’s 630,000. Ariel Williams, Amin Akhlaghi, and 2022 SHRPO $1K champ Michael Tweedlie round out the top five.

They will play out the remaining time in Level 15 and levels increase to 40 minutes from the start of Level 16 until going up to 60 minutes at the start of Level 24.

It will be a fun, busy time in the Grand Ballroom today.
