As the clock was ticking down towards the end of Level 8, Carey Pickus had two big swings with her stack.

During the first, she was up against four-time SHRP champ Eli Levy and he was in trouble. Pickus had him dominated with against and the all-low board ran to push her stack among the leaders.

Then before they went on break, she had to send most of her stack over to Chad Freedman when her flopped set of nines went down to his rivered flush in a four-way pot. She dropped under 40,000 while Freedman looks like one of the leaders now.
