Two more familiar faces popped up on our radar this afternoon and it’s a family affair split between two tournaments. Angela and Michael Moed are successful players though each tends to play different games.

Angela took her seat in the big Event 1 Flight C crowd and she has a nice record in huge-field tournaments. Her two biggest scores came during the World Series of Poker, both resulting in final table appearances. Angela made it through most of the 936-player field in the 2012 WSOP Ladies Championship and took home nearly $50,000 for a fourth place finish then finished second in a massive 1,841-player $1,000 buy-in WSOP event two years later.

Meanwhile, Michael is across the hallway and grinding it up in one of his favorite variants of the game. He owns five major SHRP trophies (plus a Fun in the Sun title) among his nine career wins with seven of them coming in an Omaha/8 tournament.
