Flight C is close to pushing the numbers past the halfway point on the way to the $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. When we hit 264, Event 1 will be less than $500,000 away from crossing into seven-digits with three complete flights and more than six levels here to register.

Michael Newman gave it a shot yesterday but was unable to build a bag later in the day. He’s back in the ballroom and already running up his 20,000 starting stack.

Newman can hit a big milestone if he picks up another trophy. He is sitting on nine titles here and going for double digits with his last one coming during the Deep Stack Series in May.

Newman also had a nice streak going that was broken during the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown. Previous to that series, he picked up a trophy in the last three big series with SHRPO, RRPO, LHPO titles.
