We walked among the tables during the first break, scoping out big stacks, and potential leaders. There were no massive stacks in the field, no one over 100K, and one stack was 83,600.

That was the biggest in the room but the seat is still unoccupied 15 minutes into the new levels. Herbert Nairn, a 2023 Showdown champ, was in that seat earlier and we assume that’s who was still there at break.

Unless someone new came in and went hard in a few minutes.
