Sean Martin

After a flop of 5d4d3c with at least 28K already in the pot, Matthew Yorra checked the big blind, and Sean Martin moved all in from middle position for 23,000. The player in the cutoff called, and Yorra moved all in over the top for about 115,000. The player in the cutoff tanked for a while before he folds.

Martin turned over Ac5s for a pair of fives with a gutshot straight draw, and he was actually ahead of Yorra’s AdJd (diamond flush draw).

The turn card was the Qs, the river card was the 4h, and Martin won the pot with two pair, fives and fours, to triple up in chips.

Sean Martin  –  97,000  (32 bb)
Matthew Yorra  –  90,000  (30 bb)

With about 105 players remaining, the average chip stack is about 95,000 (32 big blinds). The chipleader is still Steve Cohen, who has built up his stack to about 350,000 (117 bb).

This flight will continue playing until there are 63 players left, and the survivors will make the money and advance to Day 2, which begins Sunday at 1:00 pm.
