The field for Flight D dropped to 46 in the last hand of Level 16, so when the players returned from break, they begin Level 17 playing hand-for-hand on the Money Bubble.

In the fourth hand of hand-for-hand play, Andrew Zhu got it all in preflop for 113,000 with KsKh, only to run into the AxAx of Anthony Cuffari.

But the board came QsJs10c4d9h, and Zhu rivered a king-high straight to win the pot and double up in chips.

The Money Bubble continued …

In Hand #5, there was another all-in situation, with pocket kings holding up against pocket queens.

In Hand #6, there was another all-in situation, with AcQd holding up against AsJs.

In Hand #7, with the board showing Qh10d4h10c on the turn, the player in the big blind was all in for about 53,000 with KdJh for king high with an open-ended straight draw.

But Anthony Cuffari turned over Ah10s for trip tens, and if it held, he’d knock out the big blind to burst the Money Bubble.

Referencing his bad beat from three hands earlier, Cuffari looked at the dealer and said something along the lines of “Please don’t screw me with another nine on the river.”

The river card double-paired the board with the 4d, and Cuffari won the pot with a full house, tens full of fours, to eliminate the player in the big blind and burst the Money Bubble to end Flight D.
