There are only two more chances to get in the huge opening event on the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown schedule with the fifth of six flights kicking off at 11 am.

The first four flights drew a very nice field so far with 1,649 combined entries to leave Event 1 only 351 away from hitting the $1 Million guaranteed prize pool. That number should hit pretty early this afternoon and they’ll start running the money higher.

Each player will sit down to a 20,000 starting stack and levels are 30-minutes long today. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm with re-entries available during that time. They will make their way through 14 levels before survivors bag up for a Day 2 return tomorrow.

Dealers are preparing the tables and cards will go in the air at the top of the hour.
