Last night, James Gunter snapped a decade-long hiatus from poker tournaments. He won the $360 HORSE for $8,514 in one of his first tournaments back after spending most of his time playing PLO in Milwaukee.

Today, he hopped in the final flight of the $570 no-limit hold’em and he’s off to a good start, having more than doubled his original starting stack and sitting with 44,000.

With the third level of the day about to finish, there are already 454 entries and with another 301 entries, it will surpass last year’s field.
