Paula Barros made the money in the first event of the series and was tracking her results against the rest of the women in the field. One after another dropped to the rail before she was the last in the field.

Barros was happy with that result but had a chance to go deeper when she moved all-in with pocket Kings against Queens. Her run ended when the dealer put a Queen in the window and Barros couldn’t find a two-outer on the turn or river.

Barros picked up $1,563 for her 79th place finish.
