Event 1: Day 2 Ready To Go

$570 Deeper Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 15: 1,500/3,000/500 ante

The final day of Event 1 is here and 380 players are still around to get a piece of the $1,000,000 prize pool. There tournament drew 1,724 entrants but most of them were unable to make it through the 14 levels of Day 1.

Of the returning 380 players, only 200 of them will make the money with a min-cash earning $1,050 but they’ll all be aiming for the $174,010 top prize. A fine return on investment.

Vasilii Leshchenko spent a few flights atop the chip counts but Barbaro Diaz passed him by early this morning. They are the only two players returning with more than 400,000 in their stacks but there is plenty of room to moves for the rest. The average stack (113,000) is nearly 38 big blinds deep so we can expect a lot of play before getting to the money bubble.

They’ll play 40-minute levels throughout the day and schedule to play until a winner is found.
