The first event of the series was scheduled to finish in two days, but after another 18 levels of no limit hold’em, nine players still remained and Vitor Coelho leads the pack.

Coelho won a massive pot to eliminate Luke Brereton in 11th place to take the chip lead with 10 left and didn’t relinquish it before the final card was dealt. The Tampa native finished the day with 13,500,000.

Jon Borenstein is the only other player with an eight-figure chip count, finishing the day 11,675,000.

Cards get back in the air for Day 3 on Monday at 2 p.m. Everybody is guaranteed $12,114, but first place is worth $140,476. A complete look at the payouts can be found here.
