The pots have been relatively small, but David Moses continues to run hot as he increases his chip lead. He’s using his chips to play nearly every pot, but as mentioned, the pots have been pretty small.

At one point during the last level, Moses raised from the button to 70,000, Mike Chiappetta reraised from the big blind to 205,000, and Moses moved all in. Chiappetta folded, and Moses flashed pocket aces. Chiappetta said he had an ace as well, but only one.

A few hands later, Moses and the blinds limped to see a flop of , and all three players checked. The turn card paired the board with the , and Mikhail Chykiliov bet 25,000 from the small blind. Gabe Fuller folded the big blind, and Moses thought for a while before he called.

The river card was the , Chykiliov checked, Moses bet 75,000, and Chykiliov thought for a while before he called with , clearly trying to catch a bluff with queen high.

And Moses did turn over a bluff, but it was for queen high with a jack kicker. The jack did play on the board, so Moses won the pot with his bluff.

After the hand, Moses joked that a lot of players would claim that was an expertly crafted value bet, trying to get a lower queen to call, but for him, it was just a bluff, thinking Chykiliov had something like ace high.
