We expected action but no one could have anticipated the pace of play from the field today. Just three hours into the tournament and the field is already under 30 players remaining.

The short-handed turbo format has everything to do with the quick eliminations even though the average stack has been hovering between 25-30 big blinds over the last hour. Players are pushing with any big Ace or two face cards looking to flip for chips. Derrick Simon was one of those taking a shot with against then doubled when the came down on the river.
