$5,300 Buy-In Championship No Limit Hold’em $10 Million Guaranteed (Re-Entry)
Level 1: 25/50
The headlining event on the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open schedule is upon us and it is going to be a big one. The tournament sports a huge $10 million guaranteed prize pool, the biggest found in poker, for just a $5,300 buy-in. Many players are in the tournament via different levels of satellite qualifiers and those continue to run until the final turbo qualifier on Saturday morning at 9am.
The structure affords players space and time to use all the weapons in their poker arsenal. They sit behind huge 30,000 stacks at the start, with 40-minute levels until Late registration/re-entry closes at the start of Level 10. They will switch over to one hour levels at that point before coming back to 90-minute levels on Day 2.
Local grinders will mix it up with WSOP bracelet winners, popular poker professionals, celebrities, athletes, and amateurs. They will all be shooting for some part of the 8-digit prize money and their journey starts today.
Players are taking their seats in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino ballroom for the first flight of three, all hoping to bag chips at the end of the day to battle some of the best players in the world. Cards will be in the air shortly, we’ll be here from start to finish with all the highlights and updates.
