Shortly after Leonard Germain busted fourth, Brandon Berkenfeld was the next to fall at the hands of Jordan Chizick. Chizick held on a flop. Berkenfeld was severely short stacked and could only watch as Chizick’s boat held on the and runout. Berkenfeld earned $2,616 for his deep run. From there, it took but a few moments for Chizick to bust another short stack, Joey Propser, runner-up sending him home with $4,070.

In that flurry of hands, Chizick officially laid claim to his second Omaha 8 title in as many series at the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. He previously laid claim to a victory in this same variation during April’s Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.
