Ignas Jasinevicius
Chipleader Ignas Jasinevicius has more than twice as many chips as anyone else.

There were 165 entries for Day 1A of the $150 No Limit Hold’em event, and after 14 levels, only 23 remained at the end of the day.

In the final minutes of the night, the two chipleaders — Frankie Flowers and Ignas Jasinevicius — were at the same table, and they played a big pot.

After a flop of QsJh6d, Jasinevicius (big blind) and Flowers (under the gun) put in 60,000 each. The turn card paired the board with the Qh, Jasinevicius checked, Flowers bet 30,000, and Jasinevicius called. The river card was the Ks, and both players checked.

Jasinevicius turned over AhAd to win the pot with an overpair, and Flowers mucked. That hand catapuled Jasinevicius up over 400K, and he finished with a massive chip lead, more than double anyone else in the field. As for Flowers, even after losing this pot he still finished the day third in chips, less than a big blind from second.

Here are the official chip counts for the 23 survivors from Day 1A:
