Today is Day 2 of the $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Event 23 Purple Chip Bounty. A total of 115 entries put more than $115,000 in the prize pool surpassing the guarantee. The eight survivors are set to return at 2:00 PM local time and play to a winner.

Philip Wojtuniecki had a fine showing on Day 1 turning his 20,000 starting stack into 611,000 by nights end. This was thanks in part to a huge hand to eliminate Nick Yunis in the last level of the night.

Other familiar faces in the field include Jaime Wiegrefe, Corey Burbick, and 2018 SHRPO Champion Brandon Eisen.
