Event 24: Ryan Laplante Eliminated By Asher Conniff

$1,100 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 10: 500/1,000 with a 100 ante
Players: 750

A player in early position raised to 2,200 and Javier Zarco called. A player in middle position called, and then Ryan Laplante, who won a World Series of Poker gold bracelet this summer, three-bet all in for 17,000 from the hijack.

Asher Conniff then four-bet all in over the top for 30,300 from the button, both blind folded, and the original raiser got out of the way. Zarco, who had the big stack, then moved all in, and that prompted the middle-position player to fold.

Conniff: AhAc
Zarco: KsKh
Laplante: KdQs

The Qh7cAs turn gave Conniff a hammer lock on the hand with top set, but the Jd turn delivered both Zarco and Laplante a Broadway draw to a ten. It didn’t come in though as the 2h bricked on the river.

Asher Conniff – 94,000
Javier Zarco – 40,000
Ryan Laplante – Eliminated
