After 14 levels of play, the 490-entry field in the $2,650 no-limit hold’em, the second of the ‘Big 4’ events to kick off, is down to its final 103 players with Ray Qartomy edging out Louis Chandler for the chip lead.

Both Qartomy and Chandler had strong finishes to the day and were the only two players above the 300,000-chip mark. Qartomy bagged up 306,000 while Chandler will start Monday with 305,000.

Chandler won a big pot to eliminate Harrison Gimbel with two pair and temporarily moved into the chip lead. Qartomy won a couple pots to edge out the chip lead.

Here is a look at the top five chip counts:

Ray Qartomy – 306,000
Louis Chandler – 305,000
Shannon Shorr – 276,000
Gabriel Abusada – 268,500
Viet Vo – 260,000

Other notable big stacks that survived the day include Darren Elias (220,000), Luke Brereton (178,500), Alex Foxen (155,000), David Shmuel (128,500), Tony Sinishtaj (126,000), Anthony Zinno (118,000) and Ilyas Muradi (112,500).

Registration closed at the start of level 10 and cemented the field at 490 and generated a prize pool of $1.18 million, which easily surpassed the $1 million guarantee.

The top 62 players will finish in the money with a min-cash worth $4,255 and the eventual winner earning $229,555.

Day 2 will commence at noon on Monday with blinds starting at 1,500-3,000 with a 3,000 big blind antes. Levels will be increased to 60 minutes and the field will play down to a final table, which will conclude on Tuesday.
