Ray Qartomy

Event 35 drew a great group of players with 490 entries pushing the prize pool over the $1,000,000 mark and 103 survived to return today for Day 2 at noon.

Ray Qartomy leads the return but only one yellow chip better than second-place Louis Chandler. 2021 WPT Poker Showdown $5K winner Shannon Shorr sits in third, WPT Tampa runner-up Gabriel Abusada is in fourth, and WPT Poker Showdown Championship third-place finisher is in fifth.

That’s the talent in only the top five spots.

The first order of business after the restart will be making it into the money. The last 62 players will earn some cash with $4,255 for a min-cash and $229,555 up top.

Levels increase to 60 minutes and they are scheduled to continue playing this evening until they reach nine players. The final table will return tomorrow at 1 pm to play down to a champion.

Cards go back in the air at noon and we will have all the fun.
