Steven Lauffer was the quietest player at the final table but finally had to take a stand after climbing a few spots on the payout ladder.

It happened after Frank Simms shoved from middle position for 62,000 and action folded to Lauffer in the big blind with half that amount.

He called with and was at risk against Simms’ . The flop ran clean for Simms with but Lauffer added some chop outs on the turn. No love on the river and Lauffer was gone in 7th place for $885.
