As the Monday Night Football game came to a close, the majority of the poker players in Event 4 were focused on that rather than their table. There were a lot of peek at cards and fold. Another player was not as lucky. He moved all in with A-K and was called by a big stack who held pocket 8’s. Things were looking good when he flopped an ace but an 8 on the river meant his tournament was over. He pushed his stack of chips into the middle towards the lucky big stack who could only say “sorry bud” as he added more chips to his ever growing stack.
