In an interesting development, the final table players returned from their 15-minute break and began serious discussion of making a deal to chop up the remaining prize money.
It took a few minutes, along with prompting from tournament staff, but they finally agreed to give $19,000 to the top four stacks and split the remaining money among the other five. It was a surprisingly smooth process and the final nine are hitting the cage for payouts.
