Day 2 of the huge $1,000,000 Guarantee Event 5 is about to get started with big money on the line. Two players will finish the tournament with a six-digit payday while some will leave empty handed.

The tournament drew 2,484 entrants over the six starting flights to easily surpass the guarantee and build the prize pool to $1,237,000. In total, 469 players were able to survive their first day with a chance to earn a piece of that prize pool. Only 200 of them will make the money with a min-cash worth $1,299.

The biggest money is reserved for those who make the final table and each is guaranteed at least $21,648 while the top spot is set to take home $215,244.

Returning players will be trying to chase Michael Dunn (Katy, TX) who had a huge end to the second flight and finished with 684,500. The next closest stack belongs to Tony Ruberto with 366,500, a nice lead but that is no guarantee of success today.
