The final day of Event 5 is here and we’re ready to close the books before a Thursday pause in the action. The big $570 buy-in tournament drew a nice crowd of 830 entrants to easily surpass the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool and build it up to $415,000.

Of those 830 entrants, we have 157 of them returning today for a chance to earn a piece of that prize pool. The top 81 players will be guaranteed a min-cash of $1,038 but they’re all aiming for the top prize of $95,433.

Jorge Rivera is your returning chip leader when he closed out the final flight with 364,000. Daniel Lisitsyn is his closest competitor at the restart and his 309,000 put them both as the only players over 300,000.

Things will move quickly today and we expect to hit the money bubble shortly after the first break. The next stop after that is playing down to the final table and finding our Event 5 champion.
