Alan Dobrow opened with a raise to 130,000 in the hijack, and Jake Richardson three-bet to 285,000 in the cutoff. Dobrow called the remainder to see the flop.
It came , and Dobow moved all in for 1,020,000. Richardson had 800,000 left in front of him, and he spent a long while in the tank. “This is my whole tournament, huh?” he realized. At one point, he stood up and gave the board a long stare, clearly agonizing over the decision. He eventually called, then he let out a fist pump as he realized he was correct.
Dobrow: (pair of sevens)
Richardson: (pair of queens)
The turn and river filled out the board, though, and Dobrow ran down a flush to earn the knockout. He’s now the chipleader with 19 players remaining as Richardson heads to the payout desk.
Alan Dobrow – 2,500,000 (50 bb)
Jake Richardson – Eliminated
