It took an interesting hand to get Jeffrey Trudeau out of Event 5 and it began when he opened to 250,000 from the button before Joe Gale called in the small blind.

Gale recently folded Big Slick face up to a small three-bet and he was active again. They both checked the flop and Gale fired out 500,000 after the turn. Trudeau called and Gale quickly said “all-in” after the river.

Gale had Trudeau’s 2,300,000 covered and he went in the tank. After cutting down his stacks, he eventually called with and Gale showed for the better two pair. It was a surprising exit but Trudeau was gone in 8th place for $4,537.
