The Turtle ran away with the race this time.

Michael “Turtle” Dunn left himself with a mountain of chips to easily win Flight 5B.  Dunn finished with a stunning 684,500 chips leaving everyone else far behind.

While Dunn’s massive total overshadowed the rest of the field, quite a few players had strong nights of their own.  Jospeh Lachkovich scored 252,500 followed by Aaron Mermelstein’s 245,000 chips.  Zo Karim ended the night with 225,000, Soheb Porbandarwala bagged 222,500 and Don Dizenzo finished with 202,000.

Dunn will still have to look over his shoulder for four more Day 1 flights of Event 5 but it’s safe to it will be a Herculean task to catch him until Day 2 on Sunday.
