It was a rough start for former Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown champ Steven McKoy. He checked in to his table and couldn’t have played more than a few hands before he was seen snatching up his backpack.

A quick look at the board before the dealer destroyed the evidence showed his opponent flopped a set of Queens. The nearby table was giving him a good needle about the quick run when McKoy jokingly tried to convince everyone he lost quads to a straight flush.

No one bought his story and he was off to the registration desk.

Darryll Fish was a recent addition to the field and was having his fun at McKoy’s expense. Other arriving over the last level were Carter Gill, Brandon Schwartz, TJ Shulman, and Nigel Murray.
