Event 5D: Play Ends, Qasem Jamhour Leads Flight

It’s not Michael Dunn’s stack from yesterday, but a large group of players put up impressive numbers to advance out of Flight 5D.

Qasem Jamhour outlasted the field tonight scoring 271,500 chips to lead the flight.  Andres Morales put away 248,000 for second followed by Jeremy Antonoff at 237,000, Cory Zeidman with 230,000, Steven Cohen at 220,500 and Timothy Banks at 213,000.  Sheddy Siddiqui took a late hit but still finished with 174,500 and Dan Suied put away 153,500 to close out his evening.

66 players advanced out of the 362 entries tonight bringing the total of players going to Sunday’s Day 2 so far up to 254 out of a total of 1,384 entries.

Play in Event 5 resumes tomorrow with Flight 5E at 11 AM and Flight 5F at 6 PM to close out Day 1 play.
