Event 8: Riley Fuller Wins It All

$560 Buy-In Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 40: Blinds 500k/1m/100k ante

Riley Fuller began heads up play with a very healthy chip lead, a lead Adam Rouse could only dent a little until one last move gone awry.

Fuller opened to 2,500,000 from the button to give Rouse pause to think about his action. After cutting out chips and counting down his stack, he eventually told the dealer he was all-in.

Fuller could not get his chips in fast enough and tossed in a stack to call with his KhKs. Rouse could only say “that’s bad” when he rolled over Kd4s. Fuller’s crowded was making noise as the dealer kept the JdTs8c flop clean but the Qh gave Rouse eight chop-outs to the straight.

The river blanked Tc for Rouse to send him out as the runner-up for $155,382 and Fuller joined his friends on the rail before collecting his $239,585 for the title.
