Brain England, the 28-year-old online pro from Hazlet NJ is our $1,100 Turbo winner. It was a whirlwind final table with the bust outs coming fast and furious. Barry Hutter, the eventual runner-up and our winner Brian England took turns eliminating all their opponents.

The first two eliminations, Andrew Dean (10th place) and Keith Morrow (9th place) were at the hands of Hutter. Gavin O’Rourke was eliminated in 8th place by England. Then Hutter knocked out the next three opponents to get it down to the final four players.

England swiftly took out Charbel Azzi in fourth, and Hutter got it to heads up when he cracked Jose Reyes’s pocket jacks with ace seven. It appeared Hutter’s luck ran out when his pocket queens couldn’t hold against England’s king nine for the final hand of the tournament.

This was Brian England’s first tournament this series as he just got into town this morning. He traveled here from Costa Rica with his three-year-old son Benjamin and girlfriend Shirley. This is the second time England has been to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. He came here last April for the first time, “I love it here, the tournaments are run so well, when I came in April I said to myself I want to play all the future Hard Rock tournaments.”

England mentioned how his son doesn’t think he’s worth anything unless he brings home the trophy “It’s better than the money to him! He doesn’t care how much I win, but if I come back with the trophy he’s happy.”

It was pretty smooth sailing for England during the day, he got down low quickly but managed to spin it up and win his all ins. “I had the best hand most of the time, except that last one”

“It’s a good start to the series, I’m looking forward to the next week and a half it should be fun” Good luck Brian!
