Event 9: Last Big Restart

Level 15: 1,500/3,000 with a 500 ante
Players Remaining: 119/1,239

Frankie Flowers

Event 9 was the last multi-day event on the schedule and the small buy-in tournament tore past its $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The $150 buy-in event drew 1,239 entries to push the prize pool up to nearly $150,000 by the time they were done.

Former SHRP champ Frankie Flowers returns as the chip leader among the 119 still around with a shot at the title. He’ll still have to work to add another trophy to the one he earned during the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown last year.

The last 72 players will earn a piece of the prize pool and they should get there in a hurry with the winner earning more than $37,000 for a $150 buy-in. They will kick things back off in the ballroom at 1pm and we’ll track them all the way down to a champ.
