Raffaello Locatelli raised under the gun to 45,000, David Prociak called from the button, and Brian Hastings called from the big blind.

Both players checked to the turn on a board of Qh7s6c5c, and Hastings bet 65,000. Locatelli thought for a while before he called, and Prociak thought for a while before he also called.

The river card was the 7c, and it checked to Prociak, who bet 275,000. Hastings folded, and Locatelli tanked for a while, saying, “Good bet. He’s tough to crack.”

Locatelli eventually called, and Prociak turned over Kc9c to win the pot with a king-high flush, and Locatelli mucked.

David Prociak  –  1,930,000  (97 bb)
Raffaello Locatelli  –  640,000  (32 bb)

One hand later, after a flop of Kc7h4h, Locatelli checked the big blind, Barry Weprin bet 65,000 from the button, and Locatelli called.

The turn card was the 9d, Locatelli checked, Weprin moved all in for 520,000, and Locatelli called with Ks3h for a pair of kings. But Weprin turned over Kd10h for a pair of kings with a higher kicker.

The river card paired the board with the 4s, but Weprin’s kicker still played for him to win the pot and double up in chips, knocking Locatelli down to less than one big blind.

Barry Weprin  –  1,250,000  (63 bb)
Raffaello Locatelli  –   15,000  (<1 bb)
