2022 Fun in the Sun Event 5 Main Event Champion Jake Schwartz

Event 5 of the 2022 Fun in the Sun Poker Open was the $600 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em Main Event (Re-Entry). A field of 369 entries generated a prize pool of $193,725, nearly doubling the guarantee. Emerging victorious was Jake Schwartz, winning outright for $40,365.

Schwartz sat third in chips of the returning 18 players on Day 2, and by the time the final table was reached, Schwartz was comfortably in the lead, only relinquishing it briefly en route to his triumph.

In addition to his impressive poker résumé, which now boasts more than $3.84 million in career live tournament winnings according to the Hendon Mob poker database, this marked Schwartz’s second live tournament win. The first also was at the Seminole Hard Rock, as Schwartz won the $1,000 Turbo No-Limt Hold’em event at the 2016 SHRPO series for $42,628.
