Jared Jaffee Doubles Up
Jared Jaffee Doubles Up

Arkadiy Tsinis raised from the hijack to 32,000, Jared Jaffee moved all in from the button for 301,000, and Tsinis called with JhJc.

Jaffee turned over KsKd, and needed his hand to hold to stay alive.

The board came 8c6c2sAc5s, and the pocket kings held up for Jaffee to win the pot and double up in chips.

Jared Jaffee  –  642,000  (40 bb)

Earlier today at the dinner break, with 18 players coming back to blinds of 3K-5K (5K ante), Alex Turyansky was down to just 10,000 in chips. But he has fought his way back to make the final table, and now he is one of the short stacks on the Money Bubble with eight players remaining.

Now back to the present.

The next hand after Jaffee doubled, Turyansky moved all in from the button for a little more than 200K to win the blinds and antes. A hand later, he moved all in from the cutoff, again winning the blinds and antes.

The next hand, Arkadiy Tsinis raised under the gun to 32,000, and for the third hand in a row, Turyansky moved all in, this time from the hijack. Tsinis folded, and Turyansky took his third pot in a row to reach about 325K.

Alex Turyansky  –  325,000  (20 bb)
Arkadiy Tsinis  –  615,000  (38 bb)

The next hand, Maria Ho raised under the gun to 35,000, Alex Turyansky called from middle position, and Arkadiy Tsinis called from the big blind.

The flop came 8d4d2h, Tsinis checked, and Ho bet 46,000. Then Turyansky moved all in for the fourth hand in a row, this time for about 290,000.

Tsinis folded, and Ho tanked for a very long time before she folded. Turyansky took his fourth straight hand, moving all in each time without getting called. And after those four hands, Turyansky has more than doubled his stack.

Alex Turyansky  –  465,000  (29 bb)
Maria Ho  –  325,000  (20 bb)

Turyansky folded the next hand preflop, and his streak of moving all in came to an end.

With about 15 minutes remaining in Level 15, these are the approximate chip counts:

Seat 1.  Jared Jaffee  –  602,000  (38 bb)
Seat 2.  Alex Turyansky  –  365,000  (23 bb)

Seat 7.  Arkadiy Tsinis  –  660,000  (41 bb)
