ICYMI: Yuval Bronshtein Wins First LHPO Trophy; Event 1 Hits Early Guarantee

It was a big first day for the 2021 Lucky Hearts Poker Open with a full, socially-distanced group of players coming out to start the series. The first two flights of Event 1 blasted over its guarantee and we awarded our first trophy of the series.

Event 2 was a $400 Limit Omaha 8 tournament which drew a huge field of 123 players to the Freeze-Out tournament. That number made it the second biggest Limit Omaha 8 game in our major history with the top one running nearly a decade ago.

Yuval Bronshtein recently moved to Florida and already making an impact. The 2019 WSOP Deuce-to-Seven bracelet winner captured his first SHRP title after a four-way deal that saw him take home $7,534.

“I’ll be back for the H.O.R.S.E. tournament,” Bronshtein said. “I’m looking to go back-to-back.”

1st: Yuval Bronshtein – $7,534
2nd: Manuel Labandeira – $7,324
3rd: Andrew Edgington – $5,867
4th: Mark Robinson – $5,704
