Day 1A of the $3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship drew 1,048 entries, easily surpassing the number needed to reach the $2,000,000 guarantee. As it stands right now, the prizepool is worth more than $3.3 million, and that total is expected to double with Saturday’s Day 1B field.
There were 331 players who survived thru the end of Level 10, and they will return for Day 2 on Sunday at 12:00 noon.
Joshua Mountain topped the Day 1A counts, finishing with 414,000, just edging out Blair Hinkle, who finished with 413,000.
